On 29th June, Joan Pettingill Chaired the gunnercooke Foundation’s inspire* Yorkshire charity peer group. This is part of Pettingill Consulting’s commitment to give back to the communities that support us. Joan chairs the inspire* Yorkshire group on a pro bono basis to help small charities.
The group of Yorkshire (and North Notts) small charity CEO’s and leaders met for a lively round table discussion. The topics included, human resources and delegation. Charity CEO’s were able to share learnings with one another in a beautiful grounds of Helmsley Walled Gardens in Helmsley, North Yorkshire.
If you lead, or are involved in a small charity in Yorkshire, please don’t hesitate to contact us for details of how to apply to join the inspire* Yorkshire group. The group meets approximately quarterly as a peer group and the gunnercooke Foundation additionally provides a raft of free additional resources and informative events both online and in person.
Our next inspire Yorkshire* meeting will take place on Tuesday 31st October.
The gunnercooke Foundation supports over 100 small charities nationally. If you’d like more information about this or about charity hub groups, again, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
And if you’re not a charity CEO, you might simply like to enjoy a trip out to the walled gardens at Helmsley. They’re well worth a visit and we all had a fantastic time enjoying the gardens. We even had the opportunity to try out labyrinth walking!
